Are these the same as washable incontinence pants?
Yes. Some people say washable incontinence pants, some say leak proof knickers. We call them bladder leak knickers: underwear that looks normal, with four layers sewn in for light bladder leaks.
How much do they hold?
Our four-layer styles hold around 40–50 ml, about 10 teaspoons. The three-layer Original holds around 20–30 ml, about 6 teaspoons. That covers light leaks. They are not made for heavy loss.
Will I feel wet?
The top layer holds no moisture itself. It passes it to the core underneath, which locks it in. With light leaks the fabric against your skin stays dry to the touch for up to 72 hours. We would still put on a fresh pair every day.
How do I wash them?
At 30°C, with your normal laundry. A washing bag comes free with every pack.
How many pairs do I need?
Five pairs give you a fresh one for every weekday between washes. That is the 3+2 free pack. With 7+8 free you get fifteen, and eight of them cost nothing.
