Here's the thing I learned the hard way: most brands make one pattern and scale it. So the "XL" has the same gusset width and the same waistband as the small, just longer. On a bigger body that means the gusset sits too far forward, the waistband sits under your tummy instead of over it, and the whole thing rolls.

3. Nothing moves when you sit down. Nothing rubs when you walk.
With a pad, you sit and it shifts. You walk and it rubs, especially between the thighs. By three o'clock you're sore and pulling at your trousers under the desk, and you've stopped noticing you're doing it.

8. And the smell? Let me answer that before you ask.
It's the thing that went wrong with every pair I'd bought before, and on a warm body it goes wrong faster. So I'll be straight: nobody can promise you "odour-free", and the brands that do are the ones that smelt after three washes.
What's different here is where the wet sits. In the core, not in the layer against your skin, so it doesn't stew against you all day. I'm a size 18/20/22. Which size do I actually order?
Measure your hips at the widest point, as they are now, and use the chart on the product page. Don't go by the size you'd buy on the high street: the chart is measured, the high street isn't. If you're between sizes, go up. And if it's still wrong, they send a different size free and you keep the first pair.
Will the waistband roll down when I sit?
Not in the right size. The waist is high and sits over the tummy, not under it, and it stretches with you and comes back. Every pair I'd bought before rolled because the "XL" was a small pattern stretched; these are cut for the size on the label. If yours rolls, it's the wrong size, and that's a free swap.
Will it show under my trousers or a dress?
No. They're thin, the outer layer is soft cotton, and there's no thick pad edge to print through. I wear them under beige work trousers and a fitted jersey dress. If you want more coverage on the thigh, the Boyshort is the same four layers in a short-style cut.
Does it really not feel wet?
